It's in and it works!

The picture may be a little grainy but below is photographic proof that we managed to get our bedroom door installed today! We finished framing it up this morning and by lunch we were jamming shims all over the place and hammering nails into the jambs... and before you know it we had a door! And it only took us one try! We were waiting for it to fall out all afternoon or to get stuck closed or something - but it didn't!

We also almost finished all of the drywalling. A few more small pieces here and there and we will be ready to tape and mud.

Wow, a door, a blog post AND a facebook posting all in the same day. Where do you find the time? Nice door, when can we see what's on the other side?

conditions on the other side of the door currently resemble a war zone; hopefully it will get somewhat straightened up this week.
as to "finding the time", I knew that inquiring minds would wanted to know... you do what you have to do.

After a flurry of blog activity, things seem to have stopped. I'm assuming that this is because you are far too busy with the addition to bother posting anything here. So how are things looking on the other side of that door???
